The Templates page allows you to extend the Standard Alert object in AlertOps or create a new alert template. 

Add a New Alert Template

  1. Hover over Administration in the menu bar, and select Templates.
  2. Click Add Template in the top, right-hand corner. 
  3. Enter a Template Name and select a Template Type.
  4. Click Add Attribute.
  5. Enter an Attribute Name, and select a Data Type

Extend the Standard Alert

Add additional attributes to the Standard Alert in AlertOps.

Attribute Types

Attributes are not supported in Inbound Integration or Outbound Integration mapping, but can be used in Workflow Conditions.

Boolean – true false or 1 and 0
Date – date type (mm/dd/yyyy)
LongString – 2000 characters
Numeric – integer
ShortString – 255 characters
Time – time format (hh:mm:ss)
Varbinary – file attachment

In addition, you can define list types for Numeric or ShortString attributes. To define a list, use this format:

key=value|key=value
or
a=High|b=Medium|c=Low
1=High|2=Medium|3=Low
