Product Updates Q1 2025
Q1 2025 set the foundation for an ambitious year of AI-driven incident management. We invested heavily in scheduling flexibility, alert triage performance, and search — capabilities that lay the groundwork for every release that followed. This quarter we also took the first steps in modernizing our integration marketplace and committing to a new generation of developer-first apps.
On-Call & Scheduling
Schedule Templates (February 2025)
- Released reusable schedule templates that allow teams to define rotation patterns once and apply them across multiple groups and services.
- Significantly reduced time-to-setup for new on-call teams, especially during organizational growth or M&A integration scenarios.
- Standardized scheduling conventions across the platform with version-controlled template definitions.
- Templates support both follow-the-sun and primary/secondary handoff models out of the box.
- Strengthened the underlying schedule engine to support template-based scheduling and the on-call reminder work that followed in Q2.
- Improved schedule edit performance and consistency across timezones.
- Launched platform-wide Global Search, giving users a single entry point to find alerts, incidents, users, groups, schedules, integrations, and workflows.
- Real-time indexing keeps results current as objects are created, updated, or closed.
- Significantly reduces the number of clicks required to navigate large AlertOps tenants.
- Search results are scope-aware and respect existing user role and group permissions.
- Released to a controlled set of customers — surfaces the top historical alerts most relevant to an incoming alert, directly in the Alert Details view.
- Speeds up triage by giving responders immediate context about recurring or related issues.
- Foundation for the broader correlation work that became Agent LinkUp in Q2.
- Completed development of the AlertOps JIRA Forge App — a native, Atlassian-hosted integration built on the Forge platform.
- Provides bi-directional sync between AlertOps alerts/incidents and JIRA issues without requiring middleware.
- Forge-hosted architecture means simpler installation and stronger security posture for joint customers.
- Began work on the next major release of the AlertOps ServiceNow integration, building on the ServiceNow V2 Marketplace App released in late 2024.
- Scoped expanded synchronization, deeper field mapping, and improved workflow control from within ServiceNow.
- Initiated the upgrade of the AlertOps web app from earlier Angular versions to Angular 18.
- Foundation for the rendering performance, accessibility, and AI-component integration work delivered in Q2.
- Started the React Native 0.73.11 upgrade program for the AlertOps mobile app, addressing platform dependencies and laying groundwork for the Q2 prod release.
- Reviewed and updated build pipelines for both iOS and Android.
