Product Updates Q2 2025

Q2 2025 was a landmark quarter — the moment AlertOps went from an incident management platform with AI features to an AI-native incident management platform. Five new AI Agents shipped under our "Aries" deliverable program, the web app moved to Angular 18, and the mobile app received its biggest platform upgrade in years. We also closed out user preference, theming, and manual alert merging — features customers had been asking for repeatedly.

AI & OpsIQ — The "Aries" AI Agent Release

Agent Chronicle – Automated Postmortem Generator (May–June 2025)

  • Production-released Agent Chronicle, an AI agent that automatically generates rich, structured postmortems from the alert and incident lifecycle.
  • Pulls timelines, actions taken, notes, and resolution data into a coherent narrative that responders can review and edit, eliminating hours of manual write-up.
  • Postmortems include suggested action items, root cause hypotheses, and links back to source alerts and incidents.
  • Saves IT and SRE teams substantial post-incident time and dramatically improves postmortem consistency across teams.
  • Production-released AIOps — an AI-driven correlation engine that automatically groups related alerts into a single, contextual incident.
  • Reduces alert noise dramatically by learning correlation patterns across services, integrations, and time windows.
  • Surfaces likely related alerts directly in the Alert Details view so responders can take action across a cluster in one place.
  • Foundation for the multi-profile AIOps capability released later in Q3.
  • Production-released Agent FixIT, which proposes context-aware remediation steps based on the content of an alert and similar historical incidents.
  • Suggestions are presented inline in the Alert Details page and can be one-click applied to playbooks or shared via chat.
  • Accelerates mean-time-to-resolve (MTTR) for repeat issue patterns.
  • Released a coordinated suite of five AI agents that automatically populate intelligent fields on every incoming alert:
    • Agent Classify — auto-classifies incident type (e.g., network, database, application).
    • Agent Signal Check — flags likely false positives for triage prioritization.
    • Agent Prioritize — assigns urgency and impact based on alert content and historical patterns.
    • Agent RootCause — surfaces probable root cause candidates at the moment of alert creation.
    • Summary Agent — produces a concise, human-readable alert summary that responders can read at a glance.
  • Custom AI alert fields are configurable per integration and can be used as conditions in workflows, recipient groups, and notifications.
  • Deployed the first cut of Agent Bond, our conversational AI interface, to the development environment with knowledgebase integration in progress.
  • Set the stage for the major Bond expansion that ships across Q3 and Q4 — manage Users, Groups, Workflows, OOF, and Alerts entirely through natural language.
  • Production-released the ability for responders to manually merge alerts into a single parent alert with child relationships.
  • Complements the AI-driven correlation in Agent LinkUp — when correlation is desired but not automatic, responders can now control the merge themselves.
  • Merge state is fully auditable and reversible, with notes preserved across the merge.
  • Production-released personalized user preferences — each user can now select their preferred theme (light/dark) and the default landing page they see at login.
  • Preferences persist across devices and survive sessions, including in the mobile app.
  • Standardized user preference storage in advance of further personalization features in later quarters.
  • Released on-call reminder notifications — a configurable nudge sent to users before their on-call shift begins.
  • Available across multiple notification channels (email, SMS, mobile push) and configurable in user preferences.
  • Reduces missed shifts and improves response readiness, especially in 24/7 rotations.
  • Production-released the AlertOps web application on Angular 18.
  • Substantially improves rendering performance, page load times, and accessibility compliance.
  • Enables modern Angular features used by the new AI agent UI components and the upcoming web app redesign.
  • Released the mobile platform upgrade to React Native 0.73.11.
  • Improved startup performance, better memory management, and compatibility with the latest iOS and Android OS releases.
  • Enables push notification reliability improvements and future biometric authentication work.
  • Production-released the inclusion of mobile device identifiers in user contact methods.
  • Enables more accurate per-device notification targeting and helps customers manage BYOD scenarios.
  • Supports compliance reporting around which devices are actively receiving alerts.
